Do any people in their 20s still wear eyeglasses? I got a corneal infiltrate on my L. eye & cant use contacts. |
I'm gonna have to go to the eye doctor sometime next week cuz my left eye is irritated and it has a small white spot on the colored part of it. I've been researching and sounds like what I have is a corneal infiltrate. From what I've read, I probably won't be able to wear contacts for a while so since I don't have any glasses with a recent prescription, I'm probably gonna have to get some. Do any young people still wear eyeglasses? What are the most popular frames available for someone in their 20s? By the way I'm female. Corneal infiltrates are clusters of gray-white spots (white blood cells) in superficial corneal stroma. The colored part of ur eye is the iris. Corneal infitrates are on the cornea (hence the name) not the iris. Most of the time, you can't really see the corneal infiltrates just by looking at the mirror, unless they are severe. Corneal infitrates usually form in response to an inflammatory agent. They are seen through an instrument called the slit lamp which has high magnification, and the optometrist gets to see the different layers of the cornea. I would really recomment that you go to ur optometrist as soon as possible, and don't wear ur contacts in the mean time. yeah many people of any age wear eyeglasses, so dont worry about it. Just try on many different types and find one pair that looks the best on you Yes people in their 20s still wear glasses. I am 20, my husband is 23, we both have glasses, by choice of not wanting contacts. I just picked out a frame at the optician's office that are cute. They have the frame up top, with an invisible frame at the bottom. My husband loves Oakley's brand of eyewear, but its a bit more pricey. Depending on the shape of your face/hair color, go for a slimmer, more modern shape of frame.. There is nothing wrong with having to wear glasses. Yup, girls in their 20s still wear glasses. I would suggest going with a wire frame and stick to a frame color that complements your skin tone. I would also suggest choosing a smaller frame whose shape complements your eyes and facial structure. Im surprised you haven't seen them: the sophisticates. Glasses can be treated as just another fashion accessory. Im 19 now and have been wearing glasses permanently since i was 14. There are some really stylish frames out these days, from the "frameless" ones for people who want to minimise the look of glasses, to the thick, brightly coloured and textured plastic ones that are worn by those that have embraced their sight problems and are happy to show it off so to speak. Glasses are pretty expensive, so it kinda makes sense to make them worth wearing not only for their health benefits, but for their look too.Big names in the fashion industry have opened their glasses ranges.(P.S. My current frames are plastic candy striped blue and white BlinkX es, ive ordered the red/purple swirly plastic Ray Bans- awesome, roll in the compliments!!) |
