while i was practiseing my martail arts moves, doing high kicks ,i accidently kicked my light bulb and a moth flew out and went into my eye. i have washed my eyes serveral times but it still feels sore and gone red and i keep blinking eraticly, i can't see a doctor as its sunday, can anyone pls tell me if the moth has stung me in the eye,and will i lose the sight of my eye. and to make matters worse when i landed on the floor form my high kick my toe nail caught the edge of the coffee table and it nealry ripped it off, my toe nail has allready going black, can anyone pls help as im in agony?

try not to worry, you won't lose your eye sight, just keep washing your eyes out at one hourly intervals, and in the future try not to practise your high kicks at light bulbs, you could get electrocuted

Never try self-help with the eye! Go to the A&E or eye department of your local hospital.

get to youre eye dr. a.s.a.p, you could have some of the fuzz of the moth or you could have a little peice of the ligh bulb. Better to be safe than sorry, youre eyesight is to precious. When the moth hit you in the eye this could also have caused a infection. check with youre eye dr. please.

wow! you must be good, although maybe a little accident prone. Your eye should be fine, moths cant sting you, you may just have a wee scratch that will hurt for a while and will be causing the redness but should clear up ok. Try just closing your eye and holding a cold cloth over it for a while. If it doesn't get any better, you should get advice from a doctor just incase. Take it easy and maybe you should practice your martial arts outside.
Good luck

If your vision is impaired it may be best to go to your local A&E they can put a solution in your eye to check your eye lens for scratches & remove foriegn bodies, better safe than sorry. All the rubbing and blinking you are doing may cause further damage if something is still in there!!! We only get one set of eyes

You need to get to an A&E department ASAP.
The moth may have left a limb in your eye, and your toenail needs
treatment as well.

All those skills and you got taken out by a moth and a piece of stationary furnature??? Thanks for the laugh. Let the water dribble out of the shower into your eye. Hold your eye lid open and slowly look in every direction while the water flushes your eye. Did the moth use a ridge hand on your eye or more of a front kick or maybe he just went for a straight eye gouge? Ask your martial arts teacher about always defending your midline against attack, Even when you are attacking. That includes your eyes. What fighting style do you use that you practice kicking the ceiling lights? I guess it is good if you ever get attacked by ceiling tiles........ but wear goggles next time. Boards, tiles, light bulbs... what style are you using the? The ancient HOME DEPOT fighting style? Try Hapkido. that way it is us throwing the furniture around instead of the coffee table kicking your butt.
