Horse eye injury? |
please read all of this im really scared about my mares eye. my horse done something to her eye, and i noticed one day it was tearing (pretty bad her whole cheek was wet.) it was swollen, and she could barely open it, but today, she can open it and its not tearing, the swelling has gone down but now her cornea is blue, (not like moon blindness just where her pupil should be.) only her left eye was injured but now both of her eyes have a blue tint in the middle. there was nothing in it, and no visible scratches. i cleaned it out with eye drops, wiped it off with a rag and put triple antibiotic cream in the corner. can she go blind from just a Scratched or damaged cornea?. and why is itin both eyes if only one was bothering her? im not asking you to tell me to call a vet, im asking what you know about it. try calling your vet....they should know and if not then i don't really know what else to tell you except good luck... |
