Anyone else who has had an eye injury? |
I had an injury few years back, got my eye scratched and even tho it is healed and i got my vision back, to this day sometimes i wake up with it hurting just like the day that it happend..........anyone else ever have any problems? Actually, yes, I have had a similar type of eye injury. Mine happened on my wedding day over 6 months ago. I was poked in the eye with a metal rat-tail comb(hair parting tool). I went to the eye doc with those same types of symptoms and they said it's call "erosion." The surface of your eye probably has ripples from the injury and has not healed correctly. When that happens, you get erosions from time to time. It's your cells trying to repair overnight and since your eyes are dryest at night, when you wake, the new cells rips away from your eye, causing that pain. I would see an eye doc, they can scrape the ripples from your eye and you would never have that problem again. my son had one where it looked like just the front was scratched, (bad car accident, guy rammed my stopped car in the rear doing 80km) he kept complaining he still hurt and saw "spiderwebs", took him into an eye Dr. and found out the nerve has been severed behind the left eye. He can't be helped but perhaps you can, get into your local eye Dr. it's well worth the $ spent if you can solve your problem |
