What should I do about my eye injury? |
Sorry to ask a medical diagnostic question on here, but I don't have any health insurance. Without wearing contacts, close your eyes and apply a cold wet washcloth as a compress to the affected eye several times a day. On the fourth day, apply warm compresses to the affected eye. Go to the eye doctor. You have a serious cut that could get infected. The doctor will give you something to help the healing and prevent infection. I know I've been wearing contacts for over twenty years and have had every kind of infection you could imagine. please go to your eye doctor. you want them to call you patch. Get an appt w/ your eye doctor right away. The eye is sensitive to cuts/abrasions, and they may prescribe an antibacterial drop or gel for your eye. Do not use your contacts at this point. If you get an infection it can last for weeks...so best to be cautious at this point. Don't wear your contacts, and sorry but you need to go to an ophthalmologist you might have scratched you cornea and don't know it. |
