Eye injury plz help (guys only)?

I went to my physician for a check up and he recommended a provide him with a semen sample for a fertility check.
So i went home as most of you guys know it is a bit hard to aim for a cup while masturbating, so my wife was holding the cup.
However when i cam i missed the cup and hit her in her left eye.
I feel really bad and she said it really stung for about 10 minutes and her vision was blurry for about an hour but she seems ok now.
Is it possible that i could have done permanent damage?

Semen has nothing acidic or harsh substances that would hurt the eyes.
