Nerve damage around my eye? |
I had an injury 5 days ago where a piece of lumber, with a rusty nail in it, fell and caused a gash above my left eyebrow. It bled for a while, and I went to a clinic to get a tetanus shot and they put some tape over the gash and told me to keep it on for 10 days. Your body is healing the gash by sending extra blood and white blood cells to the area, it may take a few weeks for the area to calm down. The eye area is one of the most sensitive parts of the body and they tend to hyper react to stimulus. I can tell you this, Its not nerve damage, your body is working extra hard to heal the gash above your eye, The pressure is normal with a cut that close in proximity to your eye, the twitching is also normal, as is the dryness, just use some visine, and your eye should start to feel beter |
