How can I reduce swelling on side of the eye injury for my daughter? |
How can I reduce swelling on side of the eye injury for my daughter? ice pack. a good ice pack to use is frozen peas or corn cuz they can form easily to the area instead of being "small blocks" get a steak and thaw it some..meat doesnt jsut keep swelling down it helps reduce it also put a frozen bag of peas (closed) on the eye. It will fill in the crevas of the eye and the cool temperature will keep the swelling down. my mother use to do this to use when we were little she would boil a tea bag then let it cool for a couple of minutes put it in a wash cloth then place it on the eye hope this helps... If your daughter's eye was injured, she should be seen by an eye doctor to make sure no damage was caused. In the meantime, icepacks and Advil should help decrease the swelling. |
