One eye is getting far-sighted and making me feel dizzy?

It started over a year ago and I feel it is getting worser;I am in mid-30's and one eye has decided to grow old very fast.I had an injury to the problem-eye when I was 10 and recoverd to normal although I still see a transparent crack in sight.

When I try to read fine print or when I try to look at signs on roads,I have to either close the bad eye or stare long enough to understand what is written. I thought I could live with this until recently I started feeling dizzy sometimes and couldn't walk straight for the moment when I try to focus my eyes to see something in less than 15M distance, especially on sunny days.

Is the dizziness associated with my problem eye?

Is this curable?

My eye sight had been perfect before this problem started.
Please ,somebody answer my questions.

thats not strabismus.

yes, the dizziness could be related to the blur, but you wont know until/unless you have an exam.

also wont know exactly whats wrong or if its "curable" until you have an eye exam. you need an eye exam

not necessary to see an ophthalmologist...thats a SURGEON. IMO you need to go to an optometrist first and let him/her decide if this is fixable or not, and if you need surgery THEN see an ophthalmologist

Go to an optometrist, maybe?

Sounds like it is time for glasses..see your eye Dr.

That's strabysmus, or lazy eye. Get a pair of glasses to correct the vision of your lazy eye. And to answer your question, yes your dizziness result from the discrepancy in the vision of your right and left eyes, and yes it is curable.

I think you seriously need to see an ophthalmologist. This is your vision that you're questioning. Your symptoms are hard to guess and the eye doc needs to check your eyes.
