Scratched my eye while removing contact lenses?

I've been wearing contact lenses for 3 years and this never happened to me before. My nails are very short, and my hands are always clean when I put or remove my lenses. But today when I removed the left one I felt a pain in my eye and it took like half an hour to completely go away.I guess that I scratched my eyeball,ew.Is this a serious injury?Should I visit a doctor or something?I plan to do laser eye surgery when I'm older and the eyes need to be in perfect form fot that,so I'm freaking out.

don't wear your contact lenses for 3 days....superficial injury. don't worry about it.

if it is not getting better in one day, go see your eye doctor. but wear glasses for 3 days.

you likely scratched your cornea. just don't wear your glasses for a few days and let it heal, you will be fine.

go to the doctor

that happens to me a lot of times. there is nothin to worry about. just avoid wearing lenses for a few days and you'll b perfectly alright!
