Swelling above my eye...TREATMENT?

I have swelling and redness above me eyes, below my eyebrow. I did not get an injury and both of my eyes are swelled. I've tried ice, it didn't work; ive tried aloe that didnt work either. WHAT WOULD GET THE SWELLING DOWN?

I don't care what it is just tell me what will make it go away!

It might be hives. I know you don't care and you just want it gone, but knowing what it is, is essential to getting rid of it. If it is hives, a hive, try benadryl. I get hives that sometimes swell my eyes shut. Stinks.

my eye did that last week and it just went away, but i did hold cold wet washrags on it that seemed to help

try some gel eye pads or cucumber slices. That might help along with trying some over the counter allergy relief tablets. If that doesn't work then see a doc.

This is probably a severe allergic reaction. I had the same thing happen to me and it was mold and mildew in my air ducts in my apartment. Go to the doctor and get some medicine like Zyrtec or Allegra. If it gets worse when you're at home, you need to check or have your landlord check your apartment or house to determine what is causing the problem because it won't go away until you get it taken care of.

you might have sinusitis. if that is the case, you cannot put ice. ask a pharmacist to give u over the counter meds. ask him what if he thinks it looks like sinusitis. also do you have sinus problems? you know, nose, throat, ears. that might be a clue. i would go to Dr though. don't mess with eyes. if u have this its like a sinus infection. when i had it i had puffiness where you described. also it may be allergy because you have redness. take benadril to see if swelling will go down. benadril will not hurt you. if its an allergy, then it should disappear with taking it. please let me know if any of my advice helped you. thanks and be healthy.
