Rubbing your eyes will do this very easily. I have always had to see the doctor to get rid of an infection....

You can get eye infections a number of ways, from touching your eyes with dirty fingers to putting contact lenses in that were not cleaned properly.-Go to a doctor to make sure about a possible infection and they should prescribe you with the proper antibiotic medication.-Good luck!!

Just like the previous person, but it could be highly contagious like something called pink eye. You don't want to wait to long to get it checked out. Plus it is easy to get rid of once you get some antibiotics.

You get eye infections when your immune system is compromised and bacteria has entered your eyes either by dirty fingers or pillowcase or even dirty swimming pool water. To prevent always keep hands clean, especially afer handling money, raw food, the bathroom, changng diapers...etc. Good luck!!
