Will I get an eye infection through contacts?

Will I get an eye infection through contacts if I clean them this way?

I'm really paranoid and I'm unsure of how to clean my contacts. All I do now is put opti-free solution in my contact case and drop my contacts in there. Is that all I need to do? Do I have to worry about eye infections? I have no idea how to clean my case either...

clean your case often with warm water and soap, let it dry completely before using again
if you have disposable contacts you don't really need to clean them often
if not, and when you do clean them, put the contact in the palm of you hand, pool it with solution, and gently rub with the tip of your finger, flip over and repeat on the other side, then put in case
use new solution in your case everytime
opti-free may be a no-rub solution, but gently cleaning them as i have stated will not harm them and will reduce risk of infection
if you take care of your contacts and don't leave them in too long (don't sleep with them overnight) you should be fine and have no infections caused by the contacts
if you do get an infection for another reason, throw that pair away and don't wear contacts until you are fully recovered
good luck!
