I have had eye infection for almost 3 months!!!! What the heck is it? |
My right eye has been red and slightly tender for almost three months. The redness is mainly in the inner corner and it comes and goes. It is worse in the morning when I wake up and when my allergies are acting up. There is no discharge. I do not wear contacts. I have seen two doctors. The first one gave me antibiotics and a Vigamox eye drops.... Which did absolutely nothing. An eye doctor then gave me a Zpack and some steroid eye drops which didn't seem to help much either. I hate antiobiotics because they give me yeast infections and the last two I've taken haven't done crap for my eye anyway!!! What should I do? It's likely an Allergic Conjunctivitis because 1) there is no discharge 2) the antibiotics don't work on it 3) symptom's worse with allergies. it sounds like an allergy to me =apparently the creams aren't helping though=perhaps see an eye Dr |
