Severe eye infection?

I managed to get an eye infection yesterday out of the blue. It started pussing green and turning red. The doctor said I had an infection and gave me antibiotic drops.

Today it has gotten so much worse. It is so painful. I cant close my eyelid or look down without tearing like crazy - its taking me forever just to type this. Is there anything I can do to try to ease the pain?

Ive taken Asprin Ive used a cold compress it still hurts like hell. What can I do!?

Alternate cold and hot compresses. If you are not better, call the doctor and tell him it's worsening.
