I think I have an eye infection? |
About 3 days ago, I had to walk home through a field of tall grass and it got my hay-fever started. I rubbed my eyes pretty hard and the next day my left eye puffed up. I think I must have scratched it or something. Get to an eye doctor asap. Mine told me once that eyes go bad very quickly & also heal quickly. You likely have a scratched cornea that has become infected. Prompt medical attention is needed or it will become a bigger problem. Eyes cannot be neglected like other body parts.. yikes..better get that checked before it falls out! sounds like you were allergic to whatever the grass was. I would definately see a doctor Don't screw with your eyes, run don't walk to the doctor! Most eye infections by the time they are noticed cannot be treated with OTC medications Its best to see your local doctor because your eyes are important and you could be blind if you try stuff yourself It is probably acute conjunctivitis. grab a towel or a hand towel would be better, dip it in hot water (the hotter the better-up to where you can take it) place it over you eye. the swelling will go down. keep on dipping it in hot water if it cools down. hope you get better! :D try flushing your eye with warm water =if it doesn't help and only gets worse ,you may have no choice but go to the Dr You can't afford to let an eye problem go until it gets worse either. There may be an income based walk in clinic near you. I just had something that sounds exactly like that.I ended up going to the Ophthalmologist after 10 days because it was getting puffier and itchier. He gave me a prescription for 2 days of Prednisone(oral) and some topical ointment. It cleared it in 3 days.I think he called it a Dermatitis. There is some stuff for pink eye, and eye infections. It's a little pink box in the medication department. It always helps my kids when they have an infection. Also..clear eyes, helps a great deal to clear of what ever may be stuff in your eyes. I don't recommended sticking any sort of cream in your eye not recommended b a doctor. Hope this helps. Rubbing alcohol kills germs. |

i don't think your face cleanser caused this burning. I would think the face cleanser would be able to get into your eyes without harming them. YOu might be alergic to something in the clean... |
