What Eye disease is it that causes and artificial near sightedness in the dark? It's called night myopia. When you're in the dark, the pupils of your eyes get bigger to let more light in. Unfortunately, when this happens, your depth of field and depth of focus decrease, which mimic regular myopia (near-sightedness). It's very common and technically is not a disease, but a physiological property of the eye that affects some people more than others. If you're having serious trouble with it, talk to your eye doctor. |
