Eye vision question?

does eye make up ruin your eye vision at all? My left eye had a disease in it when i was really young and now it has left my left eye blurry. I only use my right eye for reading and i want to know if make up can ruin vision. If my right eye's vision got worse...i probably couldn't read anymore.

I don't think eye make-up can ruin your vision at all. If it could we probably would all stop using it. I understand your fear though, but I guess its kinda like getting soap in your eye, it burns some but doesn't do any long term damage.

I've never heard of it. And there is no medical advice to stop using eye make up to prevent vision loss.
My guessing if there was a correlation, then womens eyesight would be worse than mens (in general).
I've been wearing eye make up for years and still have 20/20 vision.

Applied correctly, eye make up will affect your vision but one can develop an infection if not careful. I accidentally got the mascara brush in my eye and got a bad infection that left scar tissue over the retina

Check with an eye doctor to see what exactly the issue is.

It could be anything from plain old myopia in one eye (very common) to a lazy eye to something else.

The solution will depend on what the problem is.
