Eye cancer? plz help me?

ok today my mom said the corneres of her left eyes were hurting rele bad and when i looked at it...it was rele red. idk what caused this...im so scared...my mom is a single parents and i lover her to death,,,

can u die from eye cancer and what is the most that can happen?

she refuses to go to a doctor as it only started today.

Eyes can become red from many sources. It can be an infection or irritation. Dont jump to conclusions.

First of all, I believe it is way too early for you to say anything about eye cancer. I do not believe you are qualified to make such diagnoses. I cannot begin to tell you what this is, there are so many things that can happen to the eye. It could be something very serious or it could be something minor that just requires antibiotics. In any case, the eyes are very delicate instruments. If something happens to your eye and you lose your eye sight, then that's it. I would not risk my eye sight for anything. So, I urge you to get your mom to see a doctor.

But if the condition does persist I would see a doctor. I think your mom made the right decision. Maybe it's just irritation from rubbing her eyes without washing or maybe she's been staring at a computer screen all day? Who knows.

it is not eye cancer....eye cancer is EXTREMELY rare, she doesn't have it, I mean we are talking less than 10 cases per year in the US, and its melanoma that usually spreads from somewhere else...dont worry...she has conjunctivitis an inflammation she needs drops that is all.....
