Eye Cancer?

http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions...

I had these exact syptoms and what i see is exacltly what is shown in the pictured on the page in the link above. Could that lead to eye cancer? Could those symptoms be eye cancer. It says there is no headache, but sometimes i get a headache, sometimes i dont and when i do it is after that (view) goes away. like 15 minutes after.

My mother used to get very bad migranes when she was in her teen years. Could it be genetic?

According to that website, it says that ocular migraines are harmless. I sometimes have flashes as well, and have gone to my optometrist only to find that my eyes are healthy and just fine. It could just be stress or you worrying...or when your eyes are tired or strained.

Migraines do not cause or lead to cancer as far as research tells us.

If you are genuinely worried, simply go to your optometrist and ask for a full eye checkup. I'm sure its nothing serious, so try not to stress yourself over it... :)

Isn't this a question for a Dr ???

Try http://www.webmd.com/. Good luck: Blueladybug

You need to go for a check-up with your doc. He/she can best advice you because they would run proper tests.
Migraines can be genetic, since your mother had them.
Ask her what she did to alleviate her pain.
I would suggest keeping a journal & record when you get your headaches. There are many triggers which can produce migraines: food, medicine, heat, exercises, allergies etc.
I haven't heard migraines leading to cancer. I hope this helps. :)

If you haven't seen a Dr. then you should, don't mess around with your vision. I was diagnosed with cataracts at age 36, I'd gone to the optometrist due to odd halo's around lights. I couldn't believe the diagnoses but am glad I went.

yes it could and cheack up with your doc.
