Can u get skin cancer in ur eye? |
they always say to wear UV protection sunglasses..... WOOPS. haha! im not a retard sorry. Not skin cancer, no. Skin cancer is just on your skin. yes you can . always wear uv protection IS THEIR SKIN IN YOUR EYE? no , that would be eye cancer no.u dont have skin on your eye, silly. the glasses r 4 protecting your eyes from getting blind I do not know about cancer, but you can go blind from beight lights....Every been flashed by a welder?? Skin cancer means you get cancer of the skin, hence you cannot get cancer of the skin in the eye, you can get eye cancer but it isn't technically the same thing. no however when skin cancer grows it can infiltrate into the eye socket and effect the eyes. Not likely, they inject allergens into the eye for testing as no cancer has been known to grow on eyeballs.However,looking at bright objects will burn a hole in your retina(similar to a magnifying glass and a leaf)causing PERMANENT blindness. no Yes you can. Actually, there is a form of melanoma that can originate in the eye called uveal melanoma. There are also a few other eye conditions caused by excessive UV radiation, so always wear protective sunglasses! :) You won't get skin cancer in your eye (unless you are talking about the eye lid) . . but you can have melanoma of the eye. So, yes, you can get eye cancer. It is rare, but happens. |
