Lately my stomach has been hurting bad and i have NO apetite at all. I didnt know if i might have aids or cancer. my mother had eye cancer at age 6 and had to get one eye removed, maybe its genetic? i wonder why i never gain any weight but both my parents are pretty skinny as well. i havent lost weight but havent gained any in 6 years almost now! my gf is very small and im smaller than her, well skinnier anyways..please help im very scared and i dk what to do! thanks alot. btw i have extremely bad anxiety as well, usually about my weight..im depressed as well..any help would be absolutley great!

also my mother told me my gpa had colon cancer as well, my moms father.

You definitely need to see a Dr. and not because you are thin, but because of your other problems, your depression, and your anxieties. They can be causing your lack of appetite and your stomach pain. If you are worried about cancer they can do tests on you to check. They should be told of your families medical history's as well. 20 is a little young to be worrying about Cancer, but it can happen. They will also test you for aids if you have been sexually active or received blood transfussions. No one here can tell you on here what you may or may not have, not even a Dr without a check up and running some tests.

No one here can tell you. you need to go to the doctors office, and GET CHECKED OUT. Worst case you got it and you get treated, best case, your just a bit sick, and can get on with the rest of your life.

I doubt you have cancer. You are a tall, thin person, and your genetics have a lot to do with that.
Your stomach is hurting and you have no appetite because your anxiety is so high.
I suggest increasing your calorie intake, (drink milkshakes), seeing your doctor about the anxiety and depression and with his/her help, you will overcome your fears.

Good luck to you, anxiety is a terrible thing to live with and the sooner you get some help the better your life will be.

You poor thing!Go to the doctor. There are heaps of things that could be wrong (nothing as serious as cancer) I've suffered depression and anxiety and I couldn't eat for ages. My tum hurt and i just felt awful (which was all related to my depression and anxiety). I went on medication and all of the symptoms disappeared. You're making yourself worse by worrying too. Just go and have a talk with an understanding doc and I'm sure you;ll feel alot better! Don't suffer any more!

Maybe you should go see a doctor. Are you having blood in your stools, are you more tired than normal. My brother is 18 and is about your height and weight. He doesn't gain weight because he has high metabolism. Just wait till you hit 30, everything slows down. But make an appointment, go see a doctor, because if you do have it (cancer) you need to catch it early, cancer grows fast, very fast. You have to catch before it grows out of control. Go get an HIV test if your sexually active and having unprotected sex, you need to have one anyway. Believe me you will feel better after you go to the doctor. Take a deep breathe, have a little faith, smile (because you can trick your body into thinking your happy and you'll feel better) it works I do and it and recommend it to my patients. Depression can have physical effects on your body, you need to get that treated as well. Start by stop worrying, I know that sounds like a lot. I used to worry all the time about everything and the only thing it did for me was make me depressed, gain weight (some people lose it), and have high blood pressures. Give your worries to your higher power whom ever that is for you. Smile more. Go to the doctor. I always say Why worry when you can pray?
