My Brother has cancer but no insurance. Is there any help? |
My brother was diagnosed with maligment melanoma cancer of the eye a year ago. He has been turned down for medicaid or any help and now he is getting knots coming up on him. Is that a sign the cancer is spreading? I lost one brother 3 years ago, I cant lose him. I need help and answers quick. Thank you P>S We live in the State of Georgia Contact the insurance commissioner for the state of Georgia and explain the situation. See if they can offer suggestions. These knots may or may not be cancerous. He needs a biopsy; a sample of the tissue to be tested. Unfortunately there are not many Insurance companies that will take him since he has already been diagnosed. There are alternative medical plans available; they are discount cards; he can save up to 50% on his medical needs. They also have advocacy available if he needs hospitalization here is the link (click on the New Medical Program): CONTACT THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY |
