My left eyes suddenly blind. The eye doctor said there is nothing wrong with the eye. What is wrong?

Suddenly became blind. Dark--No light at all. Already last for months. Nothing is wrong with the retina, it isn't opticus neuritic, not glaucoma, no cancer, simply nothing wrong with the eye. The Doctors already confused. I don't have diabetes, do not drink. I have hypertension only.
Anybody know what is wrong? Please tell me.
Is there any medicine? The alternative one will be alright.

Could be related to a small stroke. Should get a carotid ultrasound to make sure you don't have a build up of plaque. See your general health doc who can set you up with the testing you need. (As long as you have seen an ophthalmologist and the eye itself is ok). This could be a sign of a potentially serious problem so get to a general health doctor ASAP.

Brain injury is the most likely culprit. You need to go to the doctor and don't stop going until someone tells you what is wrong.

your daydreaming wake up dude!

Your doctor has told you that there's nothing wrong with your eye, and you came here for your second opinion?????
Yeah, there are just tons of ophthalmologists just waiting to diagnose your eye condition in Yahoo Answers! If you don't trust your doctor's diagnosis, go to another doctor.

I would see a neurologist, and ask about MS.

Brain tumour!
See a neurologist and get checked out asap!

The doctor is brainless(stupid). you are blind or maybe you get effect with your eyes.go to a hospital and check in a eye-machine.

i think it's somthin wrong wit ur BRAIN.

There is a condition called Hysterical Blindness. All I really remember about it is that it can be brought on by acute stress. You might check into it.
