of all the terrible things i joke about (the holocaust, abortion, the titanic, brian peppers) i never joke about cancer just because its so terrible. what has doctors so perplexed about this. in my opinion cancer is bullshi* and i hate it. is this God's idea of a joke? If not than what the hell is cancer in God's eyes? why cant they find a cure for cancer anyway??
Well anyhoo if you've seen I am legend with Will Smith they say they find a cure for cancer there, however the cure for cancer is something stupid and dumb (you can tell because the lady explains it like that) and it could have been alot more powerful. I mean a cure for cancer, thats powerful, they could have played around with that to show how everyone turned into a zompire. Well anyhoo i think if will smith and that dog werent in it it would have been a shittier movie

But the trouble with finding a cure for cancer is that cancer is hundreds of diseases, not just one. The difficulty is that different cancers are caused by different things, so no one strategy can prevent them, and different cancers respond to different treatments so no one treatment can cure them all. There will never be a magic bullet that cures all cancer.
And some cancers CAN be cured these days:. 7 out of 10 children are cured of cancer. Testicular cancer, Hodgkin's disease, and many cases of leukaemia can all be cured in adults with chemotherapy, most skin cancers are cured with surgery, and many cases of thyroid cancer and cancer of the larynx are cured with radiotherapy.
Many other types of cancer are also cured if they are found early enough. There is still a long way to go, especially with some of the commonest types of cancer such as lung, breast, bowel and prostate cancer.
There is no hidden cancer cure, no conspiracy to hide a cancer cure from us. The conspiracy theory is an urban myth, a sort of game played by those who have not had cancer or close experience of it.
If there were such a conspiracy drug companies would either be keeping quiet about the cure or making no effort to find one even though it would bring them fame and fortune. Any drug company discovering a cure would make far more money than they can have dreamed of making up till now.
And doctors, scientists, researchers etc would be watching their relatives die and dying themselves (they and their families develop cancer at the same rate as the rest of the population) rather than co-operate to find a cure or revealing the existing secret cure
And in order to prove that any secret, hidden cure worked, thousands of people would have to have been cured by it. They鈥檇 all be keeping quiet too 鈥?not a word to the media from any of them either.
Most unlikely of all, every medical professional in the whole world would have agreed to keep existence of a cure secret. Every single one. One blabbermouth, one disgruntled researcher or sacked nurse and the whole conspiracy鈥檚 blown. Newspapers and other media wouldn't have got a sniff of it.
Existing treatments aren't perfect - very far from it. One day people will look back on them with horror. But they are all we have at the moment, and we know, because they have been tested and proven in double-blind clinical trials, that they save many lives and prolong many, many more; in this they differ from any alternative 'treatments'.
J鈥檃dore, breast and cervical cancers are both deadly killers. In the UK alone an average of 33 women a day die from breast cancer; in the US the percentage is similar, which means the daily toll is of more women.
Joneill, there is much research and dedicated hard work going on in all types of cancer to try and find cures; treatments will continue to become more effective, and cures will be found. They will. 100% FACT! right you go from something so powerful to a hollywood movie...
in my opinion cancer will never be completely cured. I'm not one to buy into conspiracy theories in fact I loathe them, but when it comes to cancer I think it's too much of a money maker. Cat scans, pet scans, mri's, radiation, chemo drugs. You think our economy is bad now wait until they cure cancer... it will not happen. It's also population control.
Billions of dollars are spent on cancer treatment, prevention, and drugs that we suffer serious economic blow backs for curing it.
I'm sure things like breast cancer, cervical cancer and other types of less aggressive and deadly cancers will be cured withint the next 20 years. I'm not saying that breast cancers and cervical cancers and other "less aggressive" cancers aren't bad and don't have aggressive potential. But these cancer's have higher survival rates.
Cancer's like lung, brain, liver, colon and others that are more likely to kill you will never be cured.... just my opinion. But I hope and pray they do because i don't want to have be told i have cancer and only have a 15% survival rate. If detected on early stage, cancer is curable.God forbid, no one should catch it.D o not run after fantasies. Hard realities are to be faced at all cost, what is in store of life in future ,no one knows. Pray for the blessings of God for all. Fact is we know what causes some cancers and can thus prevent or know when to start testing to catch it early. But a lot of the times no one knows why you got cancer. Cancer has many causes like virii, mutations, chemicals, and environment. So ya there will never be a cure for all but it is wishful thinking. |
