I have a quick question about my eye. Thanks.? |
On my right eye i developed a small lump on my white part of my eye above. There wasnt a color or anything . I never noticed having a lump before so this was a little scarey to me. I did'nt go to the doctor because it didnt hurt or cause any problems and i guess i wanted to see if it would go away on its own. So a few weeks later I notice it getting smaller and smaller. Now there is hardly anything. Does anyone no what this is or was? Could wearing contacts done something to my eye? I just hope it isnt something serious like cancer or something. Thanks. these are called "styes". Nothing to worry about. If you rub your eye, though...wash your hands before touching anything else. Don't worry about cancer, go to your eye doctor. Maybe you have a calcium deposit from your contacts. it could be an infection ,they are common in contact wearers I've had and seen styes in the the corner of the eye in the flesh but never in the white of the eye. HI , AS AN RN MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR.KNOW ONE CAN REALLY ANSWER THIS QUESTION.WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR VISION YOU REALLY SHOULD BE ASKING AN EXPERT,IT DOES SOUND LIKE A "ST YE" THEY ARE QUITE HARMLESS UNLESS YOU ARE CONSTANTLY RUBBING IT OR TOUCH IT WITH DIRTY HANDS ISN'T A GOOD IDEA.....BE SAFE AND GO SEE A DOCTOR, I FOUND A LUMP AND EVEN THOUGH I AM A NURSE I PUT IT OFF I NOW HAVE CANCER.I WAS TOLD BY MY DOCTORS IF I WOULD NOT HAVE WAITED SO LONG,IT WOULD NOT HAVE SPREAD.I CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO YOU FEELING AFRAID BUT ITS YOUR LIFE, YOUR SITE ....GO TO THE DOCTOR....PLEASE THANX |
