Cancer treatments for cats? |
My 11 year old cat who is very active and healthy has Squamous cell carcinoma right above his eye and going into his ear. Our vet has performed surgery but said they didn't remove all of it and it came back just a few weeks later. We talked to them about a couple different options. Radiation therapy being one but they said it was extremely expensive and it probably will not be successful. Chemotherapy was the other option but they said it is not likely to fix the problem either. I want to do something for my cat. I do not just want to sit back and watch him suffer while the cancer spreads and wait for him to die. If you have ever been through cancer, or watched someone else go through cancer, I promise you would not want to put your pet who doesnt understand through this. Be humane and put your cat to sleep. I hear the Chinese Restaurant has some great treatment options. |
