I think I may have adv lung cancer. Weird symptoms but afraid to see a doctor if its too late. Any hope 4 me?

Read an article about strange back pains - it all fits. Ive smoked for almost 30 years and quit a year ago. Getting tingling sensations in various parts, leg, arm, face, eyes. Constant headache. Maybe brain or bone cancer too? Afraid to go to the doctor may get health ins cancelled. Im a loving mom of 2 boys 14 & 18 and have a new husband. I'm not ready to begin to die just yet. Don't want to destroy their future just yet. Don't want to be sad just yet. Anyone hear of the tingling sensations? If I am treatable then yes, but if it's advanced I might as well enjoy what I have left and not tell anyone until I have to. I've taken care of my affairs. Any advice from those who know?

I am not hiding from it - I've spent two months dealing with it internally, getting my affairs in order, and talking to God. He has been with me through so many challenges in my life and never let me down. But you see if it's "advanced" then why should I plunge my family into sadness just yet? If there's a chance for treatment for "advanced" then I will do, but I think its simply an effort to prolong the inevitable. Lose my hair, lose my larynx, still die and take everyone with me on this terrible journey. I am just stuck. I feel it is most likely advanced & metastasized to bone cancer. Done a lot of internet reading. Wonder if I can see a doctor at a clinic anonymously? I'd rather live my life to the last day than "start to die". My oldest just started college last month, my youngest just started high school. My husband will be heartbroken. I have a disabled brother & aging mother. I have let everyone down. I'm not ready to die just yet. Don't know where to turn.

Just visit a doctor, Medicine is advanced in recent years.
Its never too late ;) good luck

you should see a doctor so you can find out if it is too late or not, you at least owe that to your family to try to start some treatment to get better. No one is ready to die but one has to make peace with it not hide from it.
i pray for you and your family, good luck

those symptoms are not indictive of cancer. heart problems maybe and circulatory, even stroke but unless you have pain and knots and nodlues and shortness of breath and productive cough, and weight loss quickly and extreme and weakness other things are likely to be going on

Hi,
I don't think that you have got cancer, smoking is not the main reason of cancer. I am a doctor of Chinese Medicine , I have many patients have symptons just like you, but none of them get cancer. the sympton of most of my patients are caused by unbanlance of Qi in their body, after some sessions of treatment, the symptons will go.
Don't worry too much about that, if you want to know more detail, you can contact me by email.

this tingle sensation can be from piched nerves..perhaps from the back or legs..it can radiate to tother parts of the body...also tingle feelings can result from over breathing and the blood doesnt circulate properly causing tingles in face hand and feet...diabetes is another thing...i honestly do not think you have enough symtoms for lung cancer...relax and see a doctor and put your mind at ease

Sweety go to the doctor so you could fine out what's wrong asap. You probably just have a simple illness going on in your system. And it could be curable with a prescribed med. You wouldn't want to upset your family by letting them know in the last moment that something is going wrong with you. Believe me it is not a good feeling for someone that you love so much, come up to you and tell you that they only have two weeks to live. I am a daughter of a mother that let her know at the last moment that it was too late for her. I thought I was going to be able to save her by taking her to the doctor and get her treated on time, but the doctor told me that it was too late, all because she did not want to get a colonoscopy done. That she had waited too long. She died of colon cancer last year and that was a real bad moment for me and the rest of the family she only had 2 weeks to live after the doctor had diagnosed her. Please don't let your kids go through this they need you. Go and take care of yourself they need you more then ever, they're still young. You see cancer is a silent killer but it could be treatable if it is catched on time. Well I'll be praying for you. And you know what? Confide in God and have faith he still makes miracles and he's not going to let you down. God bless your family and you.

Tingling sensations is not really a symptom of cancer that i know of. Back pains definately.. but not muscle pain its different. My Mum had kidney cancer in May this year that spread to her liver and lung... then right thru her body she past away sept 7. She complained of a 'tired' back for sometime, then towards the end it felt like a deep pinching pain that was very bad. Have you lost weight, lost appetite, feel tired all the time, had a severe cough????? You would definately know if you had secondary bone cancer.. it is extremely painful, and if it where in your brain your personality would change and you would have symptoms, You NEED to go to the doctor even if you dont want treatment, it may not even be cancer. you need to know. the tingling sensation is probably anxiety. Your going to make yourself sick with the stress your putting yourself under. I wish you all the best
