My mom has a bump filled w/fluid on her eye what could this be?

She had a cancer around this time last year on one of her salivitory glands. The bump has shown up on the eye that is on the same side of her face as the cancer was. She is scared because she remembers them saying something about her eye in the hospital.

It might be a stye. Here is the WebMD explaination of the problem.

"A stye is an infection in the tiny oil glands along the edge of the eyelid that surround the base of an eyelash. It begins as a red, tender bump, and looks like a small pimple as it develops.

A stye usually comes to a head (clear or yellow fluid collects in the stye) in about 3 days, after which it breaks open and drains and heals in about a week. Though the cause of a stye is often unknown, it can develop from rubbing the eyes or using products near the eyelid that can irritate the eye, both of which can transfer bacteria to the skin and cause infection.

Usually, home treatment is all that is necessary to treat a stye. This includes not wearing eye makeup or contact lenses; allowing the stye to break open by itself; applying warm, wet compresses to the eye area; and using nonprescription medications. "

it could be a stye??

idk but she should go see her doctor cuz it could b something

its probly a sye I hear if rub a penny(copper) on a sty it help to dry it and it will go away(i never had to try it though)

I dunno.I had this on my foot once.It got on my nerves so i popped it.Clear liquid came out and that was it.No infection or anything.

because you mom had cancer a year ago, it always best to have it checked by her oncologist. While it is likely not related to the cancer, it is always best to be certain.
