Maybe skin cancer?

I have a sore near my nose up towards my eye and its been there for over a week and it is a deep sore i dont know where it came from or what it is what should i do. is it possible to be cancer

You really need to see a doctor.........doctors are the ones who can check it out, and order tests if need be. BEST WISHES to you, my friend.

Remember the ABCDs. Does the sore fit this description?

A -- Asymmetry

One half doesn't match the other half.

B -- Border

The edges are ragged, blotched, or blurred.

C -- Color

The pigmentation is not uniform. Shades of tan, brown, and black are present. Dashes of red, white, and blue add to the mottled appearance.

D -- Diameter

The width is greater than six millimeters (about the size of a pencil eraser). Any growth of a mole should be of concern.

You really need to see a doctor and get it checked out. It could be nothing, but if it is cancer, it's better when they catch it early.

I have had basal cell skin cancer on my nose. Give it a few weeks to see if it heals, if it does not heal, then go to the doctor. If it does heal and then later starts to crust or bleed again then go to the doctor.

With my skin cancer, the doctor refused to biopsy until I came back telling him that it keeps on bleeding for the past 3 months.

A sudden appearance that refuses to go away is always a cause for concern. Here is an article that gives some idea about skin cancer symptoms to look out for

However, you should always see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis. If it is really skin cancer, an early treatment can mean a successful recovery.
