A 30 year old menopausal women.....help?

I have beeen diagnosed as having endometryosis. The dr. put me on a shot to stop my menstral cycle, as it is supposed to help with the affects it has on me. To my utter dismay....I have completely lost my libido!!! NONE!..NILL! GONE. I am on estrogen replacement therapy, which my dr. thinks will help. WRONG! My levels are rock bottom low, i'm depressed, and my husband thinks there is somthing wrong with him! Is there ANYTHING out there prescrition or not, that can help me!!!???? PLEASE!! My husband is only 28, and i am afraid that he is getting bored with me just letting him do his "thing" while i am not enjoying it. In desperate need of advice!!

I'm confused about how you can be on a shot to stop your menstrual cycle AND estrogen replacement at the same time, but I'll leave that to your doctor....
You could try EstraTest -- it contains not just estrogen, but testosterone as well, which might give your libido the boost it needs.

This may or may not help, but go to your local herb shop and ask for estrogen replacement herbal supplements. Honestly, it will help and it is NATURAL, so your body can handle it without making you feel weird. You can actually enjoy sex again and being young. My best friend went through menopause at 28, and she went on herbal estrogen replacement therapy and has a healthy relationship with her 23 year old boy friend...

I'm sorry to hear your husband is so ignorant of womens issues, but that's nothing new. Maybe you should take him along next time you see your doctor.

Has your blood pressure changed? The pill made mine dip, which makes you depressed including low libido.

To give yourself a fighting chance, without resorting to too many prescribed drugs, make sure you look after yourself...good diet, exercise, enough sleep etc.

Avoid wasteful distractions such as the TV, so you interact properly with your husband more. Not only should that counter his dropping self-esteem, you can be physically close to him so you pick up on his pheromones (assuming he doesn't mask them with chemicals), which will make you feel happier and, hopefully, sexier.

Before I continue...this is Women's and not Kids' health innit?!

Occasionally, try get REALLY close, even if you don't really feel like it at first. A good intake of the natural stuff, including sniffing, licking, and err swallowing (good nutrients and 'happy' chemicals abound down there), could make him and you feel a lot better! Have fun!
