My dad has esophageal Cancer and the Dr.'s just told him there's not much they can do for him. Help!! Herbs?

My dad has esophageal cancer and has completed all of his chemo and radiation. My mom had to send his end resault scans to his Dr. in Baltimore to see if he was able to have surgery to remove the tumor. The phone call came and the news was not good. They could not do any type of surgery because it had spred. We want to do plan 2...Does anyone know anything about herbal remedies to help? I have been told about Essiac Tea. I would like to hear some feedback on herbs. Please help me...I don't want to lose my dad!! There has to be something out there!!

Hi Stacy

THere are several ideas on how to cure a disease that work, but most of them dont make any money. That is why you dont hear about them in America. Im been through this scenio with people all the time. You're actually speaking for your dad (which is excellent), but is your dad ready to jump (my way of saying, is your mind open and ready to follow a plan)?

My teacher is at herbdoc.com and he has healed thousands with his methods for over 30 years. A plan called the Incurables program. My uncle followed this plan and healed his Lymphoma within 60 days. Not an easy plan to do (better than chemo and drugs), but again it all depends on the individual and how committed he is. Check out the site and Ill be happy to assist if he is serious enough about it.

Mz B (above me) is right about the love and forgiveness factors. If your father embraces that feeling then the healing will start right away. Also energy healing is VERY effective (pranic and reiki) is altering the diseased soul.

Best of health to both of you

I don't think that there are any herbs that will help, and they may even harm him more. Have you talked with his doctors about clinical trials that may be available to him? There are tons of clinical trials throughout the country going on all the time. I don't know how much money your family may have, but you can also try to deal with other countries, maybe even countries that are further advanced with types of medicine that the U.S. is not, like stem cells. Look to Japan, Israel, Germany, to see if there's anything there for him. Look for anything that you can and try everything. Perhaps in other countries they are already doing transplants of the esophogus, like France did the first face transplant. I wish you and your family the best of luck.

Hi - there are a lot of suggested herbal supplements and nutrition aids from all that i've been reading (my dad was recently diagnosed). I suggest you post your question in the Alternative Medicine section, you will probably get a lot more info there.

You have nothing to loose and EVERYTHING to gain. Hope everything works out for your family. My prayers will be with you.

Have you tried any alternative therapies...non traditional. I am a Native American and we use some of our traditional healers to assist us. Many healers use medicines from Mother Earth to help us. Some members of my family are herbalists and essiac tea is one I have heard about. Another tea you can look for is Flor-Essence. Try a search on the net for this product. I take this once in a while to detox my organs (liver, heart, kidneys, lungs, etc) and I am told that cancer patients use this as well. I just attended a workshop by a healer and he shared with us a very simple remedy which is absolute truth and which is basically LOVE for one self and others. Forgiveness as well. Sounds hokey to some but trust me it works. Also this healer suggests energy work. Chakras. Clearing out our minds, body & spirit with negative energy. Hope this works. I will pray for your dad.

My husband's brother had the same thing. It was not a good thing. He had what they call "adenocarcinoma". Once this type of cancer is detected it is usually very very hard to eradicate it. It's in the tissues. We researched everything...laser, homeopathic....we were relentless in our search. Unfortunately to no avail. I'm not one to give you false hope or encouragement, but you are dealing with professionals that see this type of thing on a daily basis. I'm so sorry for your Dad. The best thing for you to do is get input from HOSPICE and moral support for your Dad. I'm sorry sweetie. Not to say this is your Dad's destiny. Just wanted to be honest.

i lost my husband to esophageal cancer and we tried everything..talk to a heralist..(look in yellow pages) there are so many herbs and such out there, but honey, the outlook isnt good..there is no man made cure for this cancer..my hubby lived 18 months from diagnosis and it had already spread at the time..the chemical trials helped him have a good quality life up until the last 2 weeks when he became so weak. email me if you would like, support in these situations helps more than you know
