Does anyone know about, Esophageal Cancer? |
Does anyone know about, Esophageal Cancer? oh honey, i lost my husband to esophageal cancer last year. he had difficulty swallowing and an egd discovered the tumor. we went thru many many chemical trials and radiation. they gave him only 6 months because it was already spread to the lymph nodes, but taking the treatment he lived 18 mons and really had a good quality life..if he had not, it was possible he would have had to have a feeding tube and/or his voice box removed, but he did not have to have either.. the nite before he died he actually ate lemon pudding, if they offer trials, TAKE THEM and the radiation..he will live a longer symptom free life than doing nothing..email me if you would like, i can tell you more..God Bless ps, there is no cure try going to the American Cancer Society's web site. They have a lot of useful information. I don't |
