What is the prognosis for people with grade 2 gastro esophageal cancer?

What is the prognosis for people with grade 2 gastro esophageal cancer?

depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to whether the type of cancer is squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma, whether the person smokes or smoked, whether the person is healthy otherwise, whether the cancer is invasive and if so where and whether he is being treated at a major cancer facility like MD Anderson or at a local hospital with limited resources. A complete cure will be difficult but not impossible. Depending on the location and spread of the tumor, life expectancy might be up to five years even if the cancer is not curable. There is no definitive answer for your question.
