Is something stuck in my throat with nausea?

I have had the feeling for about 2 weeks that something is stuck in my throat. I feel it more after I eat, but no difficulty swallowing, and no pain. Before this happened I have also been having nausea almost every day for about a month. Has anyone had similar sympoms? I've heard it could be GERD, but I don't have heartburn. I also know someone who had esophageal cancer, so I'm kind of worried about that.

You can have GERD without heartburn but it is rare. You could have a condition called esophagitis. That would be an inflammation of the esophagus caused by many things (smoking, vomitting etc.) You really need to see a Dr. about this. You may have something as minor as a post nasal drip making you feel like you have something caught. GL

go to the doctor

You might just want to go to the doctors. Maybe you are pregnant.Just go to the doctors for a check up and maybe they can give you something for it.

GO TO A DOCTOR...DON'T ASK ANYONE HERE.........THIS IS WHAT A DOC IS FOR!!

that's how i felt when i was pregnant. i had morning sickness as well as a little congestion in my head and chest. i felt like there was a glob of mucous stuck in my throat ...and since i was nauseous anyway it made me gaggy. take a pregnancy test! :)
i felt like this for at least a week, and it cleared up on its own. well, the morning sickness didn't go away for months, though.

Please go to the doctor's for an evaluation. There is something going on. You need a professional. Take care.

Yes, go to the Dr.

I've had that feeling before. I assume that it's probably some irritation in your esophogus or throat and it just feels like something is stuck.

You certainly do need to get it checked out. There are so many non-evasive things that can be done, but you have to make sure you don't let it go too long.

have your boyfriend remove his play things!!!!!!!!
