Maybe gross to some, but 4 those that have IBS, especially women, how do u treat the symptoms w/out medication

I am grieving the loss of my father. It's been 1 yr since he passed away from esophageal cancer caused by untreated GIRD(acid reflux disease). I have gird but am treating it w/meds & getting endoscopy's annually. But, I've had IBS before due to severe stress & now it's back. I have no appetite, but I try to eat healthy, I'm nautious often & not much food appeals to me. I see plenty of doctors already...and I take metamucil...any suggestions?

try not to eat spicy foods ..or go to the doctor and get a list of the things you shouldn't eat ..and good luck!!

Try stool softners and drink lots of water...The fiber really didn't help me that much..I took meds that really helped me out alot..
