Neck tension...help!!!? |
For some reason, I'm getting a lot of neck tension. It's almost like a neck fatigue. It happens when I watch TV, sit at my desk at work, anywhere. And it happens almost immediately. Some days it's fine but most days my neck just feels tired and achy. I've tried stretching, ergonomics, you name it I've tried it. Any suggestions to help this? It's a recent development so I've not struggled with it for too long. Thanks! Applying heat might help relax the muscles. You can buy some at the drugstore that last 8 - 12 hours. (thermacare) If your tension is like muscle spasms, you my be deficient in potassium. Try eating more potassium rich foods or just take a supplement. Something that helped me was a cresent pillow, the half moon type. Filled with foam or anything really. Just remember to have a silk covering. This is very releiving for me when I watch tv. |
