Epstein barr virus what is it and what does it do to you? |
i have a friend that had a posotive epstein barr virus test done and it was positive Epstein barr is simply mononucleosis..."the kissing disease". It is simply a virus that is contagious and can be spread through contact with saliva, mucus and sometimes tears. Some people have no symptoms. Others have: glandular fever ,Usually a teenage illness.called also the kissing disease as it can be passed on this way.Harmless but unpleasant swelling of glands and general malaise,rest is the best cure. The Epstein Barr Virus is the same virus that causes Mono and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Please go through the referred site. I hope you will get your answer. |
