I suffer from epilepsy help? |
i have epilepsy and i had a bad sezuire in town yesturday know as a peti mal, when this sezuire happened i started screaming like a wild animal and punchin the air, also at one stage i punched my girlfriends 2 year old son, but this scared her to death, when i have my sezuires i never rember what happens and my girlfriend has forgiven me cause she has epilepsy as well but not as bad as mine, she has told me to go and see my gp ASAP or that she will leave me and i dont blame her cause her son is her number one. but my girlfriend has already emailed people on yahoo about this and has recieved some nasty comments of people telling her to change the record which im not happy about, i didnt mean to hit her son yesturday but i didnt relise what was happening cause epilepsy can affect people in different ways. my girlfriend has night time epilepsy and hers is more under control but like i said before im not happy with people on yahoo sending her nasty comments back, how can you stop this? when I was younger, I had epilepsy, and I remember having to take this medicine I think. but that was ages ago when I was very little so sorry I can't really help you there. tell your g/f, she is the one badmouthing you online...Why is she threatening to leave you? It is not your fault and don't blame yourself, all you can do is apologise, which you already have! What does she want from you? Tell her to grow up Unfortunately, you can't just turn off your seizures. You should definitely consult with your doctor or neurologist and let them know your seizures aren't as under control as you'd like. You might need a medication change. Just find a good dr.Evidently this one isn't giving you the right medicine or the right dosage. I do understand her concern. She's trying to get you help by telling you to go to the dr. Yes, I agree with that. I'm sure you do too. There are all kinds of people on Y/A. You've gotta take the bad with the good. You shouldn't be alone too much in case you need help with your seizures. If she moves out..hopefully you'll find another friend to move in..maybe someone who doesn't have a child. Do you go to a support group? You could probably find someone there who might need a roommate too. Hope you get it under control You owe it to yourself to find a good dr. who can help you.Keep trying to find one. Good Luck. If your Girlfriend knows about your epilepsy, she should've made sure her boy was well out of the way once you started seizing. Accidents do happen. What does she expect your GP to do? Remove part of your brain? |
