Epilepsy??? |
How would a person know if there child has it? And what causes it? How can you help someone the first time they have one? There can be many signs. Look up epilepsy and its symptoms. It can be genetic or caused by a bump on the head. It can even be caused by food additives. The child can have anything from a daydream to a convulsion. Continuous seizures can continue to damage the traumatized area in the brain and if this is happening you need to take the child to the doctor. What it is is a misfiring of the nerve cells in the brain and when this happens the rest of the brain will try to compensate for the misfiring resulting in anything from a daydream to a convulsion. If the child is having seizures, allow them to happen making sure that the kid can't fall or hurt himself on anything. http://www.epilepsyfoundation.org/about/ |
