Tiredness and Epilepsy?

I have epilepsy i was diagnosed with it at the age of 12 but after few years my doc took me my meds. nearly a year ago my mum noticed that i was suffering from absences normally associated with epilepsy in teenagers. I'm 18 now and my tablets (keppra 500mg) are making feel so tired and i now have a job. Can any one suggest something that will wake me up but won't react with my tablets

i have epilepsy too and i also take keppra. i was tired a lot as well so my doctor lowered the dosage that i take in the morning so i wasnt so tired and it was ok that the dosage at night was higher because i would be going to bed anyway. you could be having the same problem or you might be having seizures in your sleep and you just dont know it. i know i do sometimes vecause i'll go to bed at a decent time and get plenty of sleep but i wake up exhausted.

good luck and god bless

I also take Keppra 750mg I'm so tired all the time and feel hungry allot
I try to excerise but I can sleep like 3hrs straight..I have not had seizures in 4yrs though Keppra is really good to me.. Report It

My mom has epilepsy and i now her medication makes her tired but as shes 60 now she doent work. you could go to your Doctor and change your tablets .Be care full with what you take with your tablets, also dont smell lavender that brings on attacks .
