At any age a treatment of nocturnal enuresis must be started? I believe you need to be over 5 or 6 years before medication is given. My experience has been that usually treatment begins around 10 years old or older. there's bed monitors that kids use.. the moisture wakes them up and they get in the habit of going to the bathroom instead of urinating in bed. I'm sure it can be used for adults, too... however, if it's an adult, I'd find out the cause for enuresis - usually it's kids and they grow out of it. Also runs in families. |
