I am 13 and I have wet the bed twice within 3 months of each other. No prior problems. Is this a big deal???

I haven't told ANYONE and I want to keep it that way if I can. I managed to cover it up both times. It is really stressing me though. I don't know why it happens. I was crying just before because.. Well I don't know why. I had just sprayed the duvet that I had wet with air-freshener to make sure there was no smell left. From the accident two months ago. I am really really scared. I don't go to sleepovers anymore or anything. I WANT to tell my Mum, but I am too scared too. I just need to know if I need to be this worried or if it was just random and I don't have "Secondary Enuresis" or whatever it is called. I am really freaked about this. PLEASE HELP!!!

Two episodes isnt a big deal. You need to relax a bit. cut down on your water intake before you go to sleep. Also tea coffee n cola are diuretics so keep off them in the evening. Empty your bladder before you go to sleep. If you feel the need, you can keep an alarm to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Tryin a bit of meditation or yoga may help you to relax.

Okay, have you had anything change in your life lately? Any dramatic changes or travels can cause that. If not you might consider trying to pee before hitting tha rack, good luck!!

I think you should tell your parents

It is just hormonal changes just chill and see your GP if this becomes a major issue

Is something going on in your life that you have no control over?? maybe maybe you need to talk to a counselor. and i was told by a professional that medication has been discovered that will alleviate. since it only happened twice maybe you should give it some more time. when you wake up and say oh no!!!!!. dis got2go. tell your parents to make you an appt with dr.

Although you may feel embarrased i think you should tell your mum. Get her to take you to a doctor as there may be something else going on such as a infection or illness. Your mum will want to know so she can help you. By going to the doctor and finding out the cause then you can get treatment (such as antibiotics if it is a bacterial infection causing it) then you will be able to go to sleepovers without fear of wetting the bed. It is worth getting it sorted out and your mum is the best person to help you. i would want my daughter to tell me if it happened to her.

Probably because of hormonal change.
make sure you empty your bladder before going to bed.

Tell you a trick ..... get the hands of sleeping person soaked in a luke warm water filed mug .... the person will pee 4 out of five times.
