Endoscopy? |
What is it like getting an endoscopy ? (for diagnois of digestive problems). I will just tell you about a laproscopy too- they may do that if they cant see with the endoscopy. WIth an endo scopy you wont be able to eat for a while and they will put you to sleep and you will wake up and burp or fart(i know its gross but thats how your body gets rid of the gas they inflated your colon and intestines with) It doesnt involve any pain, you will be asleep! It isn't bad at all. I had anesthesia, I have heard that not all doctors use it though. Afterward my throat was a little sore and scratchy and I had a little pain in my stomach from the biopsies and all the air they force into your stomach. The day after I was fine, just a little crampiness left over. |
