Do electrolytes have anything to do with depression? |
Do electrolytes have anything to do with depression? remember your mind and body are one. i dont think so.. do you even know what electrolytes are? no Im not sure if electrolytes have much to do with depression, but i do know that if it is clinical depression then it has to do with the seritonin levels in the brain, the imbalance of seritonin can cause depression so an anti depressant drug balances that out for you, but if you take to many drugs to balance the seritonin level it could wind up killing you yes, evarything that is out of whack in our body can affect us pschologically. keep a dialogue going with your doctor and if there is something you dont understand ,let him/her know and ask for an explanation in laymans terms. No! Electrolytes help to control fluid levels in the body, maintain normal pH levels, and ensure the correct electric potential between nerve cells that enables the transmission of nerve signals. |
