I fell getting out of the shower 4 days ago. - elbow injury?

Ever since that day, when the bony tip and surrounding area touches anything it hurts really bad. Like almost a burning sensation. Very, very tender when I touch it. I know there is a nerve running around the elbow in that area, could that nerve be damaged if I still have full range motion of my hand, arm and shoulder with no pain unless direct contact is made to my elbow?

if when you fell you bashed the tip of your elbow you may have broke the part of the ulna(1 of the 2 forearm bones) called the olecranon process. the elbow is a "hinge joint" meaning the it moves in only 2 directions the way hinges on doors do. the olecranon process fits into a depression(the olecranon fossa) on the back of the humerus(the upper arm bone) near the elbow joint. if you broke this small part of your ulna you will probably notice it most when trying to flex or extend your elbow. you need elbow x-rays to find out.
