Elbow Cracking When Punching? |
I don't have any problems with my elbow, but I know when I do a right straight punch, my elbow cracks. It doesn't hurt, but it's really annoying, and I'm afraid it can lead to further injury. Is it a problem with my flexors and extensors on my elbow and forearm, or what? I do boxing, and I'm fairly flexible. It's possible you may have some laxity, or extra play, in one or more of your elbow ligaments. If you know any therapists or trainers, have them test each one. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much if you are not having any pain. I would not suggest going on much further without having someone look at it, but it is probably not something to be concerned about. In the meantime, make sure you specifically train your wrist extensors and flexors, as well as keep up with a good flexibility program. get it checked out or go tell your mom! or someone close but ihave a feeling its regular SOrry, but you are about to die. This sounds like you might need to stretchout a bit before training. By the way different arts mean different ways to throwing strikes. I am somewhat curious as to what art you train in. Glade I could help. |
