Dislocated elbow.pt2.?

ok so its been a month. the range of motion of my arm is almost back to normal. i have about 14degrees left to fully extend my arm and about 20degrees to fully bend it. i still have some pain when extending and flexing the arm. my elbow is still a bit swollen and im wondering about my chances of regaining full mobility of my arm? will it be back to normal? or will my arm stay this way? anyone been through this type of injury before what should i expect? thanks everyone.

Its really hard to say that it will be back to normal but prognosis for younger patients are better. Just continue whatever exercises your physical therapist ask you to do, even at home. In cases like this you have to widen your patience. Continue doing your stretching and strengthening exercises, soon you will see the improvements.

Only dislocated, then it should have full range of motion. I broke mine and the doctor did not put it back together exactly correct. So now over 20 years later I do not have full range of motion. The pain only lasted a little over a year.

My guess would be 6'4 or 6'5 as you are only 15 and your growth plates are still open and males usually stop growing at 18 and often earlier but sometimes later.
