Requesting suggestions for shoulder,elbow and wrist pain?


First, I know I should see a Dr. But I hope to hear some similar stories or herbal, natural aides for shoulder, elbow and wrist pain.

A few weeks back it started with my arms were feeling like they were falling alsleep and I could shake it off. Then with no injury that I can recall, My shoulders began hurting. They wake me from my sleep when I turn over or try to pull my blankets closer to me. They are painful throughout the day. Then a week into this pain, I can randomly feel the same pain in my elbows and now wrists.

not sure what this is, as you said, see a physician..
but, until then, when i have aches and pains, i find this helps.
i drink 1-2 tblspns raw apple cider vinegar, with 1 tblspn honey, then throw in about 1/2 teasp cinnamon in water, heat it a little, helps mix the honey and cinnamon..try this at morning and night..

Had a similar problem once and the doc said I pinched a nerve in my shoulder. The best thing I have found for this is magnets I wear a necklace all the time and have had no more trouble with it. The web site has lots of info and other stuff too, but just check out the jewelry.

I agree with your first statement and would suggest getting it checked out by your physician just to make sure nothing serious has happened.

That said, it might be as simple as muscle tension in the neck and shoulder that has slowly gotten worse, and is now causing some impingement on the sensory nerves. Massage and acupuncture can be very effective at relieving this sort of issue.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. Muscles can have knots called trigger points in their fibers. These knots make the muscles tighter. The majority of pain in hands and arms is refereed from the back, neck and shoulders.
Massage is the short answer for getting rid of it. For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies (it teaches what to do to get to all the muscles involved.)
