I have a compressed nerve in my Elbow (Ulnar nerve)? |
I was diagnosed with a compressed ulnar nerve. and when I wear gear My arm goes numb and hurts horribly and when I shoot a weapon i cant hold it steady, it goes numb and hurts horribly the neurologist said its a "mild-moderate injury"... My nerve conduction study showed this nerve with 45 and all other nerves 59-64... how long will it take to heal? or will I more then likely require surgery.. I'm at a loss the PA on base said that I'm basicly healthy but I can not do all this stuff what do I do? Most often this type of nerve compression will require a surgical release. Well considering its a peripheral nerve, yea it should regenerate a bit. |
